Following the genocide in Rwanda, Central Africa's Great Lakes region has struggled with an ongoing refugee crisis. The International Studies Institute will host a moderated panel discussion with New Mexico-based Martin Ndayisenga, Stany Nzabarinda, Peace Izabayo, all of whom are refugees who fled ongoing violence in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo/Rwanda, and Rwanda respectively.
